At Columbus College, one of the oldest art and design schools in the U.S., a select group of high school students spend three weeks dedicated to an area of study, such as fashion design. By the end of their fashion design experience, participants will have generated a diverse portfolio to use for the competitive college admissions process. Each week we will explore different fashion eras and create a small project inspired by those decades and style. Campers will learn style history, fabric selection, pattern making/cutting and machine sewing. Registration is open for half-day summer sewing camp at Cut & Sew, located in Morningside.
